Giuseppe Palumbo: Atene Minore

An acclaimed Italian cartoonist, Giuseppe Palumbo was born in 1964, Italy. He professional debut was in the legendary “Frigidaire” (by Liberatore, Pazienza, Tamburini, Mattioli) and later he published  in “Mondo Mongo” and the cyberpunk magazine “Cyborg” (which he co-founded with Daniele Brolli creating the masochist super hero Ramarro). Since 2000 he has been a regular contributor to “Diabolik”, while he continues to be one of the few European artists published in Japan. In this year’s festival we will enjoy Palumbo’s black-and-white drawings of “his own” Athens, collected in the tri-lingual album “Atene Minore” (“Minor Athens”) along with accompanying texts.
