The “master of black and white” was born in Uruguay in 1919 but spent his life in Buenos Aires. At an early age he began to work professionally in magazines and newspapers of Argentina and Italy, doing detective and adventure series.

The French artist was born in 1950 and studied Fine Arts in Nantes. He started publishing in 1975 in “Charlie Mensuel.” His later work in “Hara-Kiri” is especially artistic and involves stories of daring, bold themes, strongly reminiscent of Burroughs’ path in literature.
