Spiros Derveniotis & Alexia Othonaiou

Spiros Derveniotis was born in Athens in 1969. Since his first appearance in 1986, he has been working non-stop as a political cartoonist and comics creator for a variety of local papers and magazines. His work has been collected in 16 albums (so far), both his solo works and his collaborations with other comics creators (D. Vanelis, A. Vavagiannis, A. Othoneou).
Alexia Othonaiou studied Fine Art in the University for the Creative Arts and Illustration&Animation in Kingston University London and she received First-class Honours degrees in both her BA and MA. Since 2004 she has been creating images as a a freelance illustrator for various purposes (book covers, storyboards, children's books, posters e.t.c.), publishing her comics in Greek magazines and participating in exhibitions in Greece and in Europe. Her albums Bleeding Hearts (2010) and Τσακισμένη Αυγή (2012) have been published by Jemma Press
