Max Cabanes
Comics
He was born in 1947, France, and is well known for his artistic comics where color plays a major role and each strip is reminiscent of impressionist painting. Pablo Echaurren
Comics
Of Chilean origin, Pablo Echaurren was born in 1951, Rome, where he currently lives and works. His avant-garde comics walk a thin line between futurism and cubism. The fragmentation of the image and of the surface of the frame is characteristic of his work. The overall intensity and the violent use of basic colors result in a sincere humane effect. Echaurren illustrated the poster for this 1st Festival.
